Include your preferred date(s) and an alternative if possible. We will contact you to confirm the booking and request your deposit. Your booking will be complete when this payment has been received. See below for Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions of Booking

For all courses a minimum deposit of 25% of the total is required to secure a place. An invoice will be provided along with course confirmation details.

Bookings are only confirmed when course Booking Forms and deposits are received.

Course deposits are non refundable

Full course fee must be paid 4 weeks in advance of course commencement.

In the event of severe weather conditions affecting your course Climb a Mountain may alter the course structure and venue to provide a suitable alternative.

In the event of course cancellation by clients 21 days or less before the course commences, no refund will be made. For cancellations more than 21 days before the course begins 40% of the course fee paid will be refunded (not including the deposit). For cancellations on or during the course, no refund can be given.

 Climb a Mountain reserves the right to cancel/exclude anyone from a course if they do not adhere to specific safety instructions that could jeopardise their own and others safety. Anyone thought to be acting in such a manner will forfeit all professional protection and duty of care from the instructor. No refund will be given. 

Whilst client safety is the priority for all the course planning and activities and the highest professional standards are practiced, clients must accept objective risk and take responsibility for their own actions as a participant in mountaineering activities.

Although very rare, Climb a Mountain reserves the right to cancel any of the courses.  You will receive a full course refund within seven days, or the offer of an alternative date. Climb a Mountain shall not be liable for any course related expenses (such as travel and accommodation).

Insurance: Mountaineering and mountain related activities are inherently dangerous so it is always recommended that some form of personal insurance is taken out against personal loss, accident or cancellation. The British Mountaineering Council www.thebmc.co.uk  and Perkins Slade  www.perkins-slade.com are two providers of insurance for mountaineering activities.  

Equipment: Specialist equipment can be provided. You are encouraged to use as much of your own equipment as possible as it is often useful to get familiar with certain specialist products. Climb a Mountain reserves the right to refuse use of certain equipment if it is felt to be inappropriate. You are responsible for all equipment issued to them by Climb a Mountain and any loss or damage to such equipment may be subject to charge.

Health: Any medical conditions or injury should be made aware in confidence to Climb a Mountain upon booking. If you have any concerns regarding your level of fitness, please get in touch. Failing to do so could affect your ability to participate and have consequences for safety. All information is held in the strictest of confidence.

Transport: At times, if circumstances dictate, you may be asked to use your own transport if possible and provided you have it.

Age: Courses cannot be run for anyone under the age of 18 unless supervised for the duration of the course by a parent/ guardian.

Images: Photos taken whilst on a course run by Climb a Mountain may be used in future promotional literature.
